Dani Rowe (King) MBE
Cyclist
Olympic Champion, 3x World Champion, & World Record Holder

Dani King is undoubtedly one of the biggest cycling talents in the World today. Aged only 27 she is already an Olympic Champion from London 2012, 3 time World Champion, and World Record holder for the 3km team pursuit.

Dani only took up cycling aged 14 following a visit to her school by British Cycling’s talent identification programme, which clearly showed she had inherited some of her father’s genes, as her father had competed for Team GB at the 1984 and 1988 Winter Olympics as a Biathlete.

Dani’s rise to the top of the sport wasn’t always a smooth one, and included a 2 year period when she wasn’t part of the GB Cycling set up, but her self determination and willingness to succeed saw her force her way back into the squad in October 2010. Since that point she hasn’t looked back, and is now one of the most decorated female British track cyclists of all time.

As well as riding on the track Dani is an accomplished road rider, riding for one of the World’s best professional teams WaowDeals Pro Cycling. In 2015 she took the decision to focus 100% on road cycling and in Dani’s 1st full season on the road she has already achieved some stand out results in some of the biggest road races in the World, with 14 Top 10 results.

Off the bike Dani is very much a lady in demand, especially for media appearances and work with her sponsors and partners. She is an accomplished public speaker, runs her own cycling coaching business Rowe and King, and is also studying for a degree through the Open University.
